Monday, January 22nd – Early Release Day at 11:15 am (Teacher Data Day)

Tuesday, January 30th – Report Card Conferences from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Wednesday, January 31st – Report Card Conferences from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm and an  early release day for students at 11:15 am.

Co-Op After School Announcements:

CAS Applications went out to students during their Arts Block last week. Applications are DUE to the CAS Office by Wednesday, January 24th. Students and parents/guardians will be emailed individual CAS schedules by Friday, January 26th. If your child turns in a CAS application and you do not receive an email by the 26th, please email in case your email was bounced back. Late applications are accepted however, certain CAS programs will fill quickly. Extra applications are available on the CAS Board and in the Main Office.

Yale Tutors will be back on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting the week of January 30th in N100 from 2:30 – 4:30p.


Khan Academy

Did you know that 16,000 students saw gains of 200 points or more on their SAT from their PSAT score when they spent more than 20 hours practicing on Khan Academy?

Students, if you do not have an account, then go to to create their own Khan Academy user name ID. Then when prompted, link your Khan Academy account to your College Board account at Watch the video on how to link your account here.

The district would prefer it if you would you use as a template for your username ID and password for Khan Academy and College Board as:

USERNAME: firstname.lastnameDOB

PASSWORD: student ID

For example,

USERNAME: John.Doe10072005

PASSWORD: 676786
